Illostribute is a lovely blog with a lovely concept. Aside from the always inspiring interviews and collections of illustrative work, they regularly feature a prominent illustrator from days gone by. To accompany samplings of their contribution to the industry the team invites contemporaries in the field to pay tribute through interpretation.

My efforts were paying homage to the wonderfully talented Albert Dorne. It was a lovely challenge as his work plays off anatomy so well. And the clothes! Man to be able to capture fabrics the way he did.

Anyways, it was a wonderful challenge to see the world through his eyes.
